UZ continues to work nationally and internationally to create strategic, cultural events. Since its formation in 1994, UZ has developed a series of festivals and events that have made a considerable impact on the cultural landscape of Scotland including developing Glasgow’s Hogmanay and Millennium celebrations, Glasgow Art Fair, Big in Falkirk, MusicWorks, and Glasgow's Merchant City Festival.
