BRIEF
In the year the STUC celebrated its centenary, The City of Glasgow invited UZ to create and produce a huge party to celebrate Glasgow and its people. The title of this event was Pure Glasgow.

THE EVENT
The event was to take place on the 31st August 1997. Tragically Diana, Princess of Wales was killed and consequently Pure Glasgow was cancelled. UZ was invited to create a replacement event with many of the programming elements of Pure Glasgow. This event entitled Pure Celebration took place on 21st September 1997. The event attracted c.30,000 people.
